Established in 1902, the Herron School of Art is located in Indianapolis, Indian. Offering courses working in glass, iron, metals, photography, printmaking and letterpress, books & paper, clay, drawing, textiles, and wood. Penland offers one, two, and eight week hands on workshops, and also offers artists' residencies.
Based in Tucson Arizona, the Sonoran Glass Art Academy features a Hot Shop, offering classes in glassblowing where students learn to make bowls, vases, ornaments, and paperweights. They also have a flameworking shop where they teach lampworking classes and a Warm Glass Studio where they teach kiln fusing and slumping.
